- How long will the antibacterial technology work?
Antibacterial protection is a technology
that helps guard against bacterial development and growth contamination on contact
surfaces. The fabrics used in our products are tested in a US certified
biohazard level 2 laboratory for negative bacterial growth of :
- staphylococcus aureus, known as "staph
bacteria"
- klebsiella pneumoniae, known as
"pneumonia"
- MRSA, methicillin - resistant
staphylococcus aureus, known as "staph resistant to penicillin antibiotics"
Antibacterial protection reduces the bacteria levels which
can be caused by drool, urine, feces, blood, food, beverages and pets. The active antibacterial ingredients, either man made synthetic
chemicals and/or nature based technology, interrupt and reduce bacterial
reproduction. The active antibacterial ingredient in our products is
nature based and safe, silver technology.
Drool, urine, feces, blood food, beverages and pets can cause infectious
bacteria that produce putrefying rot, mildew and offensive odors. Antibacterial products significantly reduce odor,
caused by bacterial growth, and are stain resistant.
RxBlendables products feature safe nature based silver
technology which is used in silver dental alloys for fillings in our mouths and
our everyday silverware.
The technology is regulated by the EPA.

All RxBlendable products are machine wash and dry and
carry a limited warranty for a minimum of 100 home launderings or 1 year of use.
The “life span” of the products depends upon your conditions of use. The
products can not be exposed to water over 105 degrees and/or chlorine
based laundry products. We recommend using oxygen based boosters as a laundry additive.
Oxygen based boosters is color safe and 100% chlorine free! Dryer heat should not
exceed 140 degrees.

The technology is part of the fiber and yarns of the
fabrics used in the products. The technology is slow release and
can reduce up to 86% of Staph, KLEB an MRSA bacteria on product surfaces, 74% of bacterial activity and odor through 100 launderings as
directed. Results vary during
actual conditions of use. All fabrications used in products are certified tested in a U.S.
laboratory before and after 100 simulated home launderings, using oxygen
based boosters as an
additive, following recommended laundry procedures. The product itself is
usable beyond 100 launderings, the antibacterial protection becomes less
effective.
